ABSU School Fees 2023/2024: This is to tell the general public that the famed Abia State University has just released its school fees for the academic year 2023/2024 for both old and new students.

ALL STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PAY FEES IN FULL (FOR BOTH FIRST AND SECOND SEMESTERS) TO REDUCE TRANSACTION COST AND FOR CONVENIENCE.
NOTE:
- Accommodation costs for all categories of students (per session) are N40,000. It is mandatory for all first-year students
- All new students must pay, in addition to fees, fees, and accreditation and development fees, as stated in each of the categories.
- Course registration must be completed online at the beginning of each semester.
- All fees shall be paid only by electronic payment through one of the following banks:
- ABSU Microfinance Bank, Uturu
- All branches of First Bank Nigeria Plc, nationwide
- All Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc branches throughout the country
- All Fidelity Bank Plc branches throughout the country
- All-Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, branches throughout the country
- All Ecobanks in Nigeria, branches throughout the country
- All Skye Bank Ltd, nationwide affiliates
- All Diamond Bank Plc, branches throughout the country
- All branches of United Bank for Africa Nationwide

How to pay ABSU fees online
To pay ABSU fees, follow these steps:
- Visit the ABSU fees payment portal using the link below:
- https://portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng/Student/Payment
- Enter the registration number in the field and click Next.
- After verifying the lesson number, select the fees you want to pay, then proceed.
- Create an invoice on the portal, with which you can pay through the bank.
- Proceed to the recommended bank in Nigeria to pay.
- After payment, return to the school portal and print a proof of payment. This is very important because it is your proof of payment to the school.
ABSU Acceptance Fee for 2023/2024
Below is the acceptance fee that must be paid by every newly admitted student of ABSU:
- Candidates for professional courses Like, Law, Medicine, etc. are to pay N140,000
- Non-professional courses are to pay N90,000
Note that there will be no refund after payment of the above acceptance fee. Also, the ABSU acceptance fee is not included in the school fees above. They are actually different.
More so, the school authorities have made it public that candidates who fail to pay their acceptance fee or who pay it very late may have their admission revoked. That is why it is very important that you pay your ABSU access fee as soon as possible.
ABSU Hostel fee for 2023/2024
If you do not plan to get off-campus accommodation (which is usually more expensive), you will have to pay an ABSU dormitory fee at the academic meeting in 2023/2024.
Currently, the amount to be paid is 35,000 to 40,000 N per student. This amount is renewed annually and is not refunded to the school. Please also note that ABSU’s rooms are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Therefore, there is no guarantee that you will receive a room when you apply.
