UNISA Registration 2023/2024: How to register online, self-help, registration by mail and fax

How to Register at Unisa
Unisa registration for 2023 (first semester) will open on January 3, 2023. The University of South Africa (Unisa) offers four methods of registration for 2023 including online registration, self-help, post and fax.

Successful applicants and re-enrolling students must register to study through Unisa in 2023.

How to Register at Unisa

Applicants can only start the registration process if they have received an official approval of their application, and re-enrolling students can begin the registration process after receiving their registration details from Unisa.

If you wish to switch to an alternative qualification, please apply for the alternative qualification during the next application period.

Unisa Online Registration

Go to the Unisa registration website: http://registration.unisa.ac.za

Self-Help Registration

In person at a self-help computer terminal

Before going to a Unisa regional office, please read this website carefully to ensure that you complete the registration form correctly.

When you arrive at a Unisa regional office, you will be referred to a self-help computer terminal. Finish your registration by following the prompts/instructions on the screen. Unisa staff will be in the registration halls to assist you.

The self-help centers are open from 08:00 to 15:30 from Monday to Friday and from 08:00 to 11:30 on Saturdays. Saturdays open for registration: January 14 and 27, 2023.

NOTE: Unisa Second-semester registration: opens on June 20 and closes on July 29

Adding modules: log in to myUnisa, choose the myAdmin link, click on Student Admin and then click on Register Additional Modules

You will need the following to register on the web >>>>>

Student number; You must be a returning student or if you are a first-time student (at Unisa), have successfully applied for admission.

Email address; Unisa provides you with free email for life once you sign up. If you haven’t claimed your account yet, please take some time to claim your UNISA login.

Unisa Mail and fax registration

Please check that you have correctly completed the registration form using the information on this website. Errors or inaccuracies may cause your registration to be delayed. Therefore, Unisa urges you to register online or by using our self-help terminals at Unisa regional offices.

Complete registration documents and payments must reach Unisa before the registration closing date. Please do not include cash or checks with your documents. Completed registration forms can also be faxed to 012 429 4150 or sent by post to Registration @ Unisa, PO Box 392, Unisa, 0003.

Pay the minimum fees at any Standard Bank branch, using your student number as a reference number at checkout. Proof of payment must be faxed to Unisa at 012 429 4150 or included with your registration documents.

Please note that all student fee amounts and payment dates related to 2023 registration are subject to change prior to registration opening on January 3, 2023.
