ISFAP Applications 2023/2024

If you are a middle-lost student looking for funding for your tertiary education, you may want to apply to Ikusasa’s Student Financial Aid Program before applications close for the 2023 academic year.

ISFAP Applications

Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible before the deadline as ISFAP will not accept any late applications.

The ISFAP Scholarship aims to sustainably meet the higher education needs of South African students who come from poor or middle-class households to bridge the gap that lies in the lack of intermediate funding.

Applications for the ISFAP scholarship can only be made online through an application website which students can access by clicking here. Students must first create a profile and that profile will direct them to the “Apply” button and the required supporting documents will be listed.

When they submit their applications, students will be required to attach the following documents to their applications:

  • A certified copy of your Identity Document (ID)
  • A certified copy of your latest Grade 12 results or Grade 11 final results
  • A signed and certified consent form can be downloaded from the ISAFP online application website.

In order to qualify for the ISFAP applicants must be:

  1. Students from families who earn R0 to R600 000 per annum.
  2. South African citizens.
  3. Students who will be in their first year of studies for an undergraduate qualification.
  4. Students with academic achievement and acceptance into one of the institutions ISFAP is partnered with.

Expenses such as tuition fees, accommodation, food, learning materials, and subsistence allowances are covered by the ISFAP scholarship.

The scholarship scheme accepts students based on the funds they have available, as they rely on donations from the public and private sectors, therefore funding is not always guaranteed, even if students meet the minimum requirements.
