The company is headquartered in Saldanha Bay, on the West Coast of the Western Cape province, and also has offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Typical qualifications that will be keenly considered are:
- Engineering
- Accounting
- Information Technology
- Logistics
The successful candidate secures employment with Pindulo VDM upon successful completion of their studies, however, this is not a condition to receiving the bursary.
Pindulo VDM Bursary Opportunity Candidate Requirements
- Latest available academic record (if currently in Matric, learner can include Grade 10 and Grade 11 results along with a referral letter from a teacher at the school)
- Acceptance letter for study at a recognized academic institution for the 2023/2024 academic year (if available)
- Current university students may also apply with copies of academic transcripts being submitted and proof of enrolment at the university.
- Copy of ID
- An essay containing current academic, developed abilities and significant learnings, areas for development
- Objectives, job description, the rationale for career choice, growth plan in relation to Pindulo VDM and the greater supply chain industry
- Personal Motivation
